Itinerary
Day
1
ARRIVE BEIJING
On arrival into Beijing, you
will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend rest of the day exploring
exciting Beijing at your leisure.
Day 2 BEIJING
Today, you will embark upon
a full-day tour of Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Summer Palace and
Temple of Heaven. Dinner is a Peking duck banquet in the original duck
restaurant. You can choose the Beijing Opera Show/Kungfu Show as optional
at night. (B/L/D)
Day 3 BEIJING
This morning, visit the Ming
Tombs Museum, the ancient burial place of the Ming Dynasty emperors, and
the Sacred Way. After lunch visit Badaling Great Wall, built over 2,000
years ago by Emperor Qin. Cable car is optional to get the top of The
Great Wall. (B/L/D)
Day 4 BEIJING/SHANGHAI
You’ll be transferred
to the airport for your flight to Shanghai after breakfast. On arrival,
check in to your hotel for 2 nights and followed by visit to The Bund
for some great views of the futuristic Pudong area and Nanjing Road for
a spot of shopping after lunch. (B/L/D)
Day 5 SHANGHAI
A full day city tour has been
included to ensure you make the most of your stay in this modern metropolis.
Sights include the Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum and the wonderful 19th-century
Jade Buddha Temple. You can choose the Acrobatic Show as optional in the
evening. (B/L/D)
Day 6 DEPART SHANGHAI
After breakfast,
transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
